The age old jiu jitsu sayings rendering strength useless with impeccable technique were maybe true for a period of time. Buuuut now those big and strong guys are also doing BJJ. Have you been told to stop using strength in rolls? We say, f%$@ that noise. While having technical prowess is really the ultimate goal, your strength is also a skill that you need to train.
