It’s about shifting from a place of hesitation or fear to a mindset of clarity and self-assurance. Reflect on areas in your life where you hesitate to ask for what you want. Begin with smaller requests to build your confidence. When you find yourself hesitating, take a moment to reflect on what’s holding you back. Is it fear of rejection? Lack of self-worth? Are you worried about how others might perceive you? Understanding the root cause can help you address these underlying emotions. Be specific and clear about what you want and mentally prepare yourself for both outcomes. Know that asking for what you want is an act of self-respect, regardless of the response. Being comfortable with both possibilities helps you avoid anxiety and be more present in the moment.
