Some of the most devastating experiences in our lives can often lead to the greatest transformations and change in fortune. Which is why I love the title of my guest this week's book, Tragic Magic, which reveals how she overcame profound childhood trauma, answered the call, and healed through practices that anyone can use to create a life of purpose and connection. Regan Caruthers is an author, former Silicon Valley executive, previous staff member at the Heartmath Institute, and Spiritual teacher. After years in the corporate world, Divine guidance brought her back to St. Louis, where she discovered she needed life-saving open-heart surgery. That journey transformed her life and deepened her commitment to service, leading her to write and speak to inspire others.

On this guest episode, Regans talks about the themes of her newly published book, Tragic Magic. Its essence of how she finally healed from significant trauma through spiritual practice and discipline. The relationship with the divine that she cultivated, ultimately saving her life, literally, and she talks about the moments of Divine intervention and heeding the call of Divine guidance. Regan explains how her early education served as the blueprint and once she truly returned to the lessons of it, she was able to heal and thrive. She wishes to offer hope as well as share some of the practices that healed her and led her to a fulfilling, healthy, peaceful life.
