Hi – we're Nicky and Carrie, 2 ADHD coaches figuring it out together...
This episode's a bit different from our usual style – a live coaching session, with Carrie's questions assisting Nicky in delving into her very-ADHD feelings of panic tied up with being (or the fear of being) LATE – something she proudly thought she'd pretty much sorted out! During the conversation, Nicky openly and vulnerably explores some deep feelings - and makes an important discovery.
Along the way, we look at:
- our mental narrative versus reality
- the dreaded 'WTF Look'!
- some strategies & preventative measures - and how we can approach things if & when they don't work!
A note from Nicky... we didn't release this episode when recorded in early 2024, as the sound was weirdly poor – but the latest AI tech has now transformed it (thanks, Adobe!). Also, I've been sitting, long term, with whether I actually wanted it to go live. As you can see, I've decided on balance to go ahead.
