Mark Elmy has been studying the calendar and culture of the Maya since 1998.

He has worked with elders and teachers in many parts of Guatemala, and in 2015 was initiated as an Aj Q’ij (Spiritual Guide) in the K’iche tradition, trained in the sacred fire ceremony, reading the Tz’ite seeds and working with the cycles of the Chol Q’ij, the Maya sacred calendar.

Mark makes life path readings using the structure of the Chol Q’ij, both in person and remotely from his home beside Lake Atitlan in the town of San Pablo la Laguna.
