This week on the show, Maine and Simon recap the return of Gordon Ryan versus Josh Saunders on WNO 24 we also break down the entire card and in the news section discuss some of the recent announcements for the Craig Jones invitational and who has dropped out of ADCC.
In the recap section, we discussed the return of Gordan, Ryan after nearly a year of being away from competition we talk about the quick game plan he implemented, looking for leg locks early and then ultimately moving back into his passing. Once he pushed Josh onto the bottom we discussed some of the defensive work from Josh and then how Gordon was able to consistently pass and trap then move back into the legs to finish a heel hook to retain the WNO Heavyweight title.
We break down Diego ‘Pato’ Oliveira vs Fabricio Andrey, and Pato RNC finish after being down in the first judging period. We also talk about how now that Pato has both the 145, 155 belts and had defended the 145 belt if he wants to go to 135 we would be down to see it.
We talk about Jonnatas Gracie vs Jacob Couch with Gracie winning a dominate decision over Couch to take the Middleweight belt.
