She lectures on NHS Leadership at the Open University and is a visiting lecturer to numerous universities, and teaches leadership internationally via online platforms
She is an author for well known NHS journals and is a national speaker on using motivational interviewing and coaching approaches to improve communication within teams and with patients, and on team effectiveness and resilience during change.
She offers a wealth of hands-on leadership experience and has worked extensively with people/teams in organisations undergoing restructure, downsizing and merger. She has won national awards for her approach to NHS service redesign and innovation and is a coach to clients internationally on leadership development.
She is a Registered General Nurse and Registered Midwife. She has an MA in Leading Innovation and Change, a BSc (hons) in Specialist Community Care Nursing, a Diploma in Personal Performance Coaching, and is a Master Practitioner in NLP, Hypnotherapy and TimeLine Therapy.
