In this episode, I go back to the roots of the podcast which is built on the 4 cornerstones of Information, Instruction, Inspiration, and Implementation and talk about some ideas and concepts that have been more relevant for me this year.

As we move towards the end of another year, I share 10 reflections that are centered on personal growth and development and building a better life that aligns with who we are and what we are aiming to become.

Below are the 10 principles that I discuss. Tune in to get the deeper dive and the more detailed and in depth insights.

  • 6 issues that can often limit us include self-limiting beliefs, our thoughts about our pasts, how we process our physical and emotional pain, fear, regret, and shame
  • Our lives are always under construction
  • Be careful to not run in place where we often mistake movement for momentum and progress
  • People will judge you no matter what you do, so do the thing that is most true to yourself and who you choose to become
  • We pay attention to what we pay for
  • Having a great coach or mentor in your life to walk beside you is an effective way to accelerate your own growth and Hotwire the progress you desire towards your goals and the changes that you seek
  • Take chances, bet on yourself and sometimes prudence just needs to be put aside
  • Quitting is often better for you than settling or coping and if you find yourself stuck in a cul-de-sac… get off it
  • If you desire success in a particular venture or project, then consider doubling your rate of failure as you pursue that objective
  • Identify your what, fuel it with your hard and compelling why, and your how will likely appear

At the end of today’s episode, I pose a challenging question about your current self and how your mindset and decisions today will impact your future self.
