Macaroni and Cheese, chocolate bars, and burgers are some of our childhood favorites. These foods we grew up with can be a source of comfort, but are they really helping us or holding us back? As we dive into how these past traditions might teach us to ignore our bodies, this will also uncover how this leads us to rely too heavily on certain food groups.

On today’s episode we bring on Jasmine Westbrooks. Jasmine is a registered dietitian nutritionist and certified diabetes care and education specialist. She is also the co-founder of EatWell Exchange Inc., a nonprofit organization and the CEO of her consulting company, Nourish Through Nutrition, teaching about diabetes, mindful eating and making behavioral changes with all foods.
