Dr. Monique S. Nugent, MD, MPH, is a practicing hospitalist and physician leader in the Boston metro area. She has dedicated her career to improving the care of hospitalized patients, focusing on safety, quality, equity, and experience. Dr. Nugent completed her medical school and residency training at Loma Linda University Medical Center before becoming a Commonwealth Fund Fellow and receiving her Master of Public Health at Harvard.
Having practiced in various hospital settings across the country, Dr. Nugent understands how frustrating and confusing the hospital can be for patients and their loved ones to navigate.
She continues to enjoy her inpatient practice and teaches people how to prepare for a hospital stay and, once hospitalized, how to be the driver of their care.
