When it comes to sales, clients often want us to tell them what they already know before they make their decision.

That's why it is essential for salespeople to understand this human tendency so that their approach can bring about measurable results.

People often want to hear what they already know when deciding to buy because it provides them with a sense of comfort and security.

So how can we leverage off this as salespeople?

It’s quite simple really.

Ask questions and listen!

Stop reading off the Script and start asking your client valuable questions about what they already know about the product you are selling.

Start listening to what you clients wants, what they needs are and what problems they are trying to solve.

Leverage off this. Reinforce what they know. Validate and comfort them.

Good sales people talk, excellent sales people listen.

So if you’re the type of salesperson who’s never let’s your client get a word in edgewise.

Give it away now.
