Mirrorcidal: When Reflection Becomes Rejection | Morgan Goodlander
Manage episode 524821588 series 3681525
Self-reflection is often praised as a cornerstone of growth—but what happens when reflection turns into self-attack? In this episode of Rooted & Wild, Morgan Goodlander introduces the provocative concept of Mirrorcidal: the moment when awareness becomes a tool for rejection rather than understanding.
This conversation explores how insight, therapy language, and personal development frameworks can unintentionally reinforce shame, judgment, and disconnection. Morgan offers a grounded, compassionate lens for working with awareness in a way that supports dignity, presence, and authentic change—without turning the mirror into a weapon.
