In this episode of Rooted & Wild, we sit down with Stephanie Ulven, founder of Equanimity Wellness, to explore the foundational tools and insights behind Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP)—a powerful approach to reshaping internal narratives, emotional processing, and behavior through the language of the mind.

We dive into how NLP can gently unravel belief systems that no longer serve us, help regulate the nervous system, and build new pathways rooted in clarity and choice. Stephanie brings a deeply intuitive and practical perspective, grounded in decades of experience across energy medicine, psychology, and holistic health. She also shares how NLP complements her broader healing framework and why it has become such an essential tool in her work with clients seeking balance, peace, and personal agency.

Whether you're new to NLP or curious about how subconscious language shapes your reality, this episode offers an accessible and inspiring entry point.

About Stephanie:
Stephanie Ulven is a multi-disciplinary healer, educator, and founder of Equanimity Wellness. With a background in psychology, sociology, and cosmetology, her journey into holistic health began in the early '90s and has since evolved into a deeply integrative practice. She is a Master Educator in multiple Reiki lineages—including Sekhem, Usui, Kundalini, and Karuna Ki—as well as a certified practitioner in EFT tapping, CBT, homeopathy, sound healing, meditation, and end-of-life care.

Stephanie has trained under internationally respected teachers such as Professor Krishna N Sharma, Lisa Powers, and Dr. Paul Greham. Her approach combines structured tools like NLP and CBT with intuitive modalities, creating a healing environment where clients feel safe to drop the mask, process stored emotion, and return to a more aligned version of themselves.
