US passport photo size requirements

1. The photo size must be 2 x 2 inches (51 x 51 mm).
2. Size so that the head is between 1 inch and 1 3/8 inch (25 to 35 mm) from the bottom of the chin to the top of the head.

You don't need to worry about the size requirements. Our cutting tool will help you get the exact size.

Passport photoFirst of all, you need to take a photo with a digital camera. Please follow the passport photo instructions to take the right photo for the passport photo.

• Passport photo must be in color .
• The photo has a white or white background . If you take pictures on a white wall, do not decorate the wall.
• Look directly at the camera. Both ears should be visible .
• The photo must have a neutral facial expression .
• Both eyes should be open .
• The mouth needs to be closed . Don't laugh.
• Don't wear a hat. Full face must be seen
• There should be no other objects in the background or on the face, such as headphones. There should be no hair on the face as well.
• If possible, do not wear glasses, especially those with dark frames. If you must wear glasses, make sure that there are no reflections on the glasses. Both eyes must be clearly seen.
• The forehead and eyebrows should be visible. Do not cover eyebrows with hair.
• There must be no shadows on the face and back of the head. Please see the tips below on how to avoid shadows in photos.
• The light on the right side is even.
