Making passport photos at home is not as difficult as you think. By simply following the passport photo guide and some photography tips, you can create your own compliant passport photo. You can take several photos and choose the best one to print.

Different countries have different passport photo requirements. Most requests are common.

  • Passport photo must be in color .
  • The photo has a white or white background . If you take pictures on a white wall, do not decorate the wall.
  • Look directly at the camera.
  • The photo must have a neutral facial expression .
  • Both eyes should be open .
  • The mouth needs to be closed . Don't laugh.
  • Don't wear a hat. Full face must be seen
  • There should be no other objects in the background or on the face, such as headphones. There should be no hair on the face as well.
  • If possible, do not wear glasses, especially those with dark frames. If you must wear glasses, make sure that there are no reflections on the glasses. Both eyes must be clearly seen.
  • The forehead and eyebrows should be visible. Do not cover eyebrows with hair.
  • There must be no shadows on the face and back of the head. Please see the tips below on how to avoid shadows in photos.
  • The light on the right side is even.
