This week, Chris shares the lessons he learned from his most recent half marathon race. His performance was far off what he expected. As he assessed the root causes, he realized his conclusions - weather, recent injury, dehydration, etc. - were contributing factors, but not the main cause. These factors were excuses that were clouding his assessment of the real problem.
The real problem? He was cutting corners, skipping training sessions, and making excuses. He was half in, expecting full results. That's not how this works.
Chris decided to stop making excuses and start prioritizing his time to invest in his faith, family, and fitness.
