Today, I re-launch a ministry subseries of the Couple O’ Nukes Podcast called Radiating Faith. This series comes from a project close to my heart that originally began as a separate podcast and was inspired by my book, God vs. The Indomitable Human Spirit. While financial and time constraints had caused me to stop the original show, I now bring Radiating Faith back and revitalized as a series designed to share sermons, scripture, and lessons for today’s world, with an emphasis on Hebrew and Greek.

In this first episode, I focus on the prophet Jeremiah- Yirmĕyāhû -often called the “Weeping Prophet,” and his writings in the Book of Lamentations. I talk about what it means to live in a fallen world and how Jeremiah’s grief over Judah’s destruction mirrors the struggles we see today. From addiction and relapse, to violence and hatred, to the shallow culture of digital algorithms, I unpack how the prophet’s laments continue to resonate in our time.

I also walk through passages in Lamentations to highlight both the consequences of sin and the hope that still exists in God’s mercy. Together, we examine the importance of mourning, of cultivating godly sorrow, and of understanding the true weight of sin before we fall into destruction. This episode closes with a call to reflect, to lament, and to draw closer to God in a world that desperately needs healing.
