Dangerous Dan Dawson of the Toronto Rock is one of the greatest NLL lacrosse players of all time. He joins us today to talk lacrosse, leadership and juggling a career, sport and family. We cover the importance of family in raising well rounded athletes and Dan elaborates on the "December baby" effect on younger kids in sport and how they can overcome this.
In his 20 year career, he has been a 3 time NLL champion, a 7x NLL All-Pro, NLL MVP, NLL Finals MVP, he has played in over 300 career games and will soon be in sole possession of the most games played in NLL history. He is 4th in all time goals. He is currently sitting in second in all time assists, 2nd all time in points. He is an 8x MSL Champion, 2x WLA champion, 5x Mann Cup Champion, 3x Gold Medalist with Team Canada Indoor and 1x Silver medalist with Team Canada Field. Representing Canada, he has won two World Indoor (Box) Lacrosse Championship titles and was a finalist in the 2010 World (Field) Lacrosse Championship.
