Hello friends in Jesus welcome to the show 2 Minutes with the Lord.

Jesus instructs his apostles in the Gospel. They attentively listen to the teachings of Jesus before being sent out. The teachings of Jesus may sound very radical in nature. Sometimes the apostles must have had the idea of giving up on the mission.

The feeling of giving up on a certain task often comes across in our mind. When we face obstacles in life and feel helpless. We are unable to face problems and difficulties. Jesus clearly instructs the apostles we shall reflect on it.

The healing ministry of the apostles given by Jesus. Jesus wants his apostles to heal and care for the sick.

The social ministry of the apostles requires selfless service and simple lifestyle. He warns his disciples to avoid expensive possessions for oneself.

The blessing ministry of the apostles. The apostles will receive a lot of goodwill from the people. The apostles need to reciprocate this goodwill with blessings of peace.

What instructions do we wish to receive from Jesus?

As Christians, we have a clarion call to be generous towards humanity and creation. We should not accumulate enormous wealth for ourselves. A sense of hospitality with people around us. It is necessary that we make people feel comfortable in our presence.

Let us listen to the instructions of Jesus for our life. This is the missionary mandate that Jesus gives to us as apostles.
