Hello friends in Jesus welcome to the show 2 Minutes with the Lord.

Jesus takes the blame upon him for the persecution caused to the believers. He gives a clear cut situation of the suffering people. Persecutions are bound to come if one is faithful to Jesus Christ.

The sending of the apostles to different parts of the country to preach the good news was the part of Jesus mission to build the kingdom. Many people receive the good news in faith. The faith experience leads a person to accept Jesus as the Saviour.

After accepting Jesus in one's life there can be because Jesus says, brother will betray brother to death, children will rise against the parents and so on. Hardships come along in our faith journey.

Jesus offers a solution. He says, The one who endures till the end will be saved. Endurance is the ability to resist or withstand in tough situations. It can be trouble, trials and temptations etc.

We need the Holy Spirit to be with us to help us cope with such situations. Jesus gives us the Spirit so that we can overcome persecutions.

As Christians, we have to be faithful in our calling. Discern the will of God in our life. Jesus is ever present with us to guide us.
