Becoming aware of our biases and moving them from implicit, (unknown) to explicit, (known) is only the first step. To deconstruct our past biased experiences and not have them impact our present experiences we have to find the origination point of the bias. The origination point is the place where we had an experience or were given a narrative about a small group of people that we extrapolated to a larger group. The origination point is key because it is the point of healing and understanding.
