In the past, a reflection was to recall any bit of information to try & connect it to a thought to see if I could do the cognitive and literacy skill of RECALL. There are some very fluent readers who can say every word, but there's no meaning. They read pages and pages, but ask them a question (literal or inferential) about what they read and there's no connection to the story. There's few or no moments of A-HA, I'm reminding of this, or this happened to me! Engagement.

Now, the reflection is a lot longer since I used to reflect a lot on experiences and as I said (1,000,000x) previously & then wrote (once here) "I get everything back that I had prior assaults" & then this other piece. Recognizing that I've learned more about my strategies post those assaults (the ultimate abandonment, betrayal & denial) to put together this curriculum since I realize I beat suicide.

Only one person needed to know & why without advocacy, having to say, "hey, this is real. I know because I've been here, but I'm finally learning it through them," would not have happened without violence.

Finally, the purpose of violence is understood.
