Dear Old and New,
In today’s devotional, Xio shares from 2 Corinthians 5:17 about what it truly means to live as a new creation in Christ. Paul wrote this to the believers in Corinth, a city filled with wealth, idol worship, and distraction. They struggled to let go of their old identities and learn how to walk in the new life God had given them.
Just like them, we can hold onto past victories or failures and miss what God is trying to do now. You are not who you were before. The old has passed away, and God is giving you new strength, new vision, and new victories.
Take a moment to ask yourself what victories or chapters you need to release so God can make room for the new. This is your reminder that you are not fighting for victory. You are fighting from it.
Listen, reflect, and let your heart open to the new thing God is doing in you.
