Jeroen and Sjoerd from Plogging Utrecht collected more than 890kg of trash since June 2020 while running. That’s a lot of cigarette buds, plastic bags but especially energy cans. They told us how they started out plogging and how they professionalized to become Plogging Utrecht. We talked about trash rich neighbourhoods in Utrecht, catches of the day, waste management options and the change of consumer behaviour.
