Originally Published April 20, 2022. Tune in to hear Tom McAuliffe share the extraordinary story of his grandfather, Tommy McAuliffe, an armless golfer who became a champion, motivational speaker, and advocate for the disabled in the 1930s. Tommy, who lost both arms at age nine, defied all expectations by mastering golf, using his body in ways few imagined possible, and inspiring countless others with his philosophy that "the only handicap is in your own mind."

Tom's books, Mr. Mulligan and No Handicaps, explore this legacy and offer lessons on resilience, self-determination, and living a fantastic life. Tom’s insights and family stories provide a powerful reminder that with perseverance and a positive mindset, any life can be extraordinary

Tom Patrick McAuliffe, 65, is an Author living on Florida’s Emerald Coast with his wife Sharon and cat Gigi.
