As we approach Thanksgiving, we thought it would be fun to do an episode about how choosing an attitude can improve your health in middle age. We chat about how deciding to engage in the practice of gratefulness can lower cortisol, build new neural pathways that make hope easier to access, decrease everything from depression to digestive problems, and reframe your entire life. Not bad, huh? Also the values of putting your runs in a schedule, having a mantra that works for you(!), and building the most important things in your life out of garbage.
