Cocktail of the Week: Apple Cider Gin
A simple, crisp fall sipper you can build from pantry staples.
- 2 oz gin (London dry preferred; Hendrick’s works too)
- 2 oz apple cider (spiced/mulled is great)
- 0.5 oz fresh lime juice
- Ice for shaking
- Pinch of ground cinnamon or a cinnamon stick, for garnish
Add ice to the shaker last so you don’t dilute early; shake 15–30 seconds until very cold; strain over fresh ice in a rocks or highball glass. Optional: garnish with a light cinnamon sprinkle or stick.
Pro tip: batch the citrus and cider ahead; keep the gin separate and shake to order.
