In this episode we're talking all about something that you've likely heard us reference on The Nordy Pod, but we've yet to really dig too deep into, and that's the Nordstrom Product Group (NPG). This is a collection of private brands owned by Nordstrom aimed at building a more well-rounded offering for our customers. To help us better understand what that's all about we'll hear from a couple of really talented people that run that whole operation: Nina Barjesteh, President of NPG, and Sarah Waite, Senior Vice President of Business Strategy & Merchandising for NPG. We’ll discuss NPG's reasons for being and how it helps to benefit the company as a whole, as well as some of the challenges of selling a collection of private brands shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the best brands in the world. Thanks for tuning in to episode 70. We hope you enjoy it! Did you know that YOU can be on The Nordy Pod? This show isn't just a one-way conversation. We want to hear about what Nordstrom looks like through your eyes. Share your Nordstrom experience, good or bad, by giving us a call and leaving a voicemail at: 206.594.0526, or send an email to [email protected] to be a part of the conversation! And be sure to follow us on Instagram @thenordypod to stay up to date on new episodes, announcements and more.
