Jamie Bhatti’s journey to the top of Scottish rugby is anything but conventional. Born in Stirling in 1993, Bhatti's early life saw him working in an abattoir and as a nightclub doorman, with aspirations of joining the police force. However, his passion and talent for rugby led him down a different path. Starting with Hillfoot Minis and progressing through Stirling County and Melrose RFC, Bhatti's dedication and hard work propelled him into professional rugby. He made his debut for Glasgow Warriors in 2016, later playing for Edinburgh and Bath, before returning to Glasgow in 2021. Internationally, Bhatti earned his first cap for Scotland in 2017 and has since been a consistent presence in the national team, including participation in the 2023 Rugby World Cup. Known affectionately as "The Wombat," Bhatti's story is a testament to resilience, determination, and the unyielding spirit required to succeed at the highest levels of sport.

In this episode, Jamie opens up about his unconventional path to professional rugby, the challenges he faced along the way, and the mindset that keeps him grounded both on and off the pitch.
