Last week, Seth called Haydn he was quitting the podcast and shutting down his company. Oh, and Digital Profit Farm, the company Seth started, had just closed out their second best month ever. But, exhausted and frustrated, Seth listened only to his emotions and was ready to quit (a couple of months later, he was fine). On the other end of the extreme, companies like Blockbuster and Borders were so analytical that the leadership saw the hurricane in the distance that would eventually sink the ship, but ran the numbers and became convinced the storm wasn't as big as it was. It was a false belief they held to even as these two massive companies were being torn apart by the waves. Rather than try to give you a list on how to achieve "perfect balance," this is an episode about learning where you are on the scale, and what to do to compensate for your blind spots. Join The Consultant and the Millennial Facebook Group and grow alongside other leaders as we dive deeper into topics covered on the podcast! Get in touch with Haydn: [email protected],peopledrivenresuls.com, Facebook, Twitter. Get in touch with seth: [email protected], digitalprofitfarm.com, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.
