But, exhausted and frustrated, Seth listened only to his emotions and was ready to quit (a couple of months later, he was fine). On the other end of the extreme, companies like Blockbuster and Borders were so analytical that the leadership saw the hurricane in the distance that would eventually sink the ship, but ran the numbers and became convinced the storm wasn't as big as it was. It was a false belief they held to even as these two massive companies were being torn apart by the waves.
