In this episode, I’m sharing the raw truth about the season that knocked me flat: perimenopause. I thought I was fine… until August hit like a freight train. My mood crashed, my energy vanished, and for the first time in years, I knew something was seriously wrong.

I walk you through how I finally connected the dots — the sleep issues, the thinning hair, the stubborn weight, the joint pain, the frozen shoulder — all the symptoms I tried to explain away as stress, trauma, thyroid issues, or just “getting older.” For years I couldn’t tell what was hormones and what was survival mode… but this year made everything unmistakably clear.

You’ll hear how the depression I thought I’d healed came raging back, how daily life became impossible, and how it affected my business, my relationships, and my confidence in ways I didn’t see coming. I share the moment that scared me enough to get real medical help, why the first doctor wasn’t helpful (shocker), and what pushed me to book a private gynecologist and start HRT.

I talk openly about my fears of going back on birth control, what actually changed once I started Zoely — and what didn’t. You’ll also hear the lifestyle shifts I’ve had to make with my cortisol levels through the roof, and why I’m releasing the idea of “getting back to my old body” and instead learning who this new version of me is becoming.

If you’ve been feeling off, overwhelmed, or like you don’t recognize yourself anymore — you’re not alone, and you’re not broken. Your hormones are shifting. And you deserve support.

If this episode resonates, share it with a friend who might be struggling silently. She might not be “losing it” — she might be perimenopausal.
