I trust the Universe.

That is something that has taken me a while to say and is something I have been working on for a while, surrendering all expectations and illusions of control. I know in the spiritual community we often say trust the Universe (Higher Power, Source, God, whichever you choose to call it), and for most, we do reach a level of trusting. What I did find interesting on my journey is that I trusted that I was guided and taken care of, but there was still a part of me that felt like I needed to micromanage for others. This pattern of helping, fixing and saving others from themselves felt like it was my responsibility. Then one day it hit me like a ton of bricks.... If I were trusting the Universe to guide and protect me for my Highest Good, why was I expecting to have to take on that role for others? Why was I not trusting that it was also taking care of others, like I trusted it was for me!?

I know that may sound really silly, as of course it is, and I get that the deeper understanding was why I was feeling that pull to fix things or save others from what the Universe was giving them for their Highest Good. This understanding had me looking at the deeply ingrained Empath pattern of trying to save or rescue others. I guess in some way, in my mind, I felt like I was trusting because I was doing the inner work and working towards more trust and surrender, so I guess in my mind, it felt like I had earned that in a way. Yet still didn't think in the bigger scope that the Universe has ALL our backs, it is there to support ALL of us, no matter beliefs, religious affiliation, human deeds done or any other category of separation.

It was like I got it on a very cosmic level that everyone is being supported in the way that they need for their Highest Good and the Evolution of their soul. Needless to say, I had to release the desire to meddle and interfere, and this came with some healing work. What it opened up for me, though, is a trusting and a deeper understanding that we are all here to support each other and to walk each other home.

Now I allow Source energy to work through me if it so chooses, and allow what needs to come to the person if I am the tool to provide it. I no longer have expectations or a feeling like I need ot micromanage the Universe to save others from their Soul path, rather I am a tool the Universe can use if it deems it appropriate for their path and mine.

This allowed me to open up that much more and release the sense of duty that I had been carrying!

So today I affirm that I trust the Universe has my back and everyone's back too!
