In this episode of Recovered Life, Chelsea Anderson is joined by Annelise Cherie, a Mental Health Coach and Reiki Practitioner from Tucson, Arizona.

Annelise’s service in the mental health world was born from her own lived experiences with abuse, childhood trauma due to family members’ addictions, and the loss of her aunt and grandmother.

After a potent plant medicine journey in Peru, deep exploration of human psychology and behavior, and several years of mentorship from her own mental health coach, Annalise now helps others cultivate self healing practices that feel authentic to them.

Tune in as Chelsea and Annelise explore:

• differences between licensed therapists and mental health coaches

• 3 practical ways to cultivate self trust in sobriety

• letting go of the notion of “right” or “wrong” ways to pursue addiction recovery

• how long term dependence on others and outsourcing of life decisions inhibits personal growth in sobriety

• The Law of Dichotomy, every belief system having a positive and negative side

• moving beyond the limitations and structures of specific recovery programs such as the 12 Step model

• the importance of self care for sustainable sobriety and service to others

• why extra-sensory perceptions are not to be feared and are something every human being is capable of
