How the JAFO Report happens: I come up with the query and put it to the AI program Perplexity. The perameters include direction to write to an 8th grade reading level, but still in the style of a progressive Canadian West Coast Boomer. I then personally edit and sometimes rewrite parts for clarity. Going back to my commerical production days in radio, I then voice track the script in my home studio using my trusty Shure SM7b. Once recorded, I then edit it, removing any breathing sounds, mic pops and lip clicks. Then it's time to add EQ effects, as well as amplify, compress, limit and normalize. After listening to the finished product two to three times to check for any remaining issues, I then upload an MP3 file.
