He is the medical director of the heart failure program at Children’s Hospital of Orange County and chief intelligence and innovation officer of CHOC where he founded the CHOC Sharon Disney Lund Medical Intelligence, Information, Investigation and Innovation Institute or Mi4. Chang is a national and international leader as a speaker, author, convener and the founder of numerous successful societies including the International Society for Pediatric Innovation, AIMed, ABAIM, providing education and certification in AI, the Medical Intelligence Society and most recently created the Alliance for Centers in Artificial Intelligence in Medicine, along with PCAIM, its pediatric component, now with over 100 centers from around the globe.
