The first step in justifying opposition to and even oppression of a group of people is to dehumanize them. That can be a subtle, even deceptive, process, camouflaged with good intentions and gentle words, but the result is the same as virulent propaganda. As David Altman explains in this third part of our conversation, that is the pattern of Jew hatred over the centuries – even within the church in all its forms.

At its root, hatred of Jewish people and the nation of Israel is a spiritual issue. That’s why it’s wise to understand how to walk in the Spirit.
