Breaking the Cycle: Overcoming Abuse and Finding Inner Peace with April Marie Gaines
Growing up with teenage parents and experiencing domestic abuse firsthand, April Gaines discovered her life mission - helping people develop self-esteem and inner peace through awareness. April joins us to share her deeply personal journey, detailing the abandonment and trauma she faced as a child, and the generational theme of teenage parenthood that drove her to become a young mom herself.
We learn from April how she took charge of her own healing journey, finding solace in massage therapy, Reiki healing, and tarot cards after divorcing her first husband. Determined to provide a better life for her children, she went back to school, earning her GED, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Now, April offers her clients a range of services, from mental health counseling to spiritual readings and energy healing. Listen in as she reminds us of our infinite worth and potential for gratitude, regardless of the hardships we may face.

April’s bio and introduction
April Gaines is a Professional Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counselor. A Certified Advanced Alcohol and Addictions Counselor through McBap of Michigan. April has spent a total of 22 years studying and obtaining numerous degrees and certificates in mental health, substance abuse, healing, and spirituality domains.
A few of these certifications include being two times Reiki Energy Healing Master, an Ama Deus Energy Healer, a certified Hypnotherapist, a Past Life Regression Therapist, a Certified Auricular Acupuncturist, and a Clairvoyant psychic medium.
April has made it her life's mission to help as many people as she can develop permanent self-esteem and inner peace through awareness. Teaching people they have innate worth, value, and purpose in this life. April has the gift of being a psychic medium where she gets the privilege to heal many souls, guide people in their lives, and connect them to loved ones on the other side. Everything she does is intended to heal and spread love and light in the world.
April has created courses to teach permanent self-esteem and inner peace. As well as a tarot card mastery and developing psychic ability course. April also serves on a weekly Echkart Tolle spiritual panel and has been a guest on many webinars, masterminds, and podcasts. All with the intent to help heal as many souls as she can in one lifetime.
