J.D. joins Chantée to discuss the power of recharging.

J.D. Johnson is a native of Petersburg, Virginia. She is a lover of learning and in such has studied, Psychology, African American Studies, Gender, Sexuality, and Women Studies, and Education. She believes that a strong work ethic coupled with radical joy will lead to both the unlocking and stamina needed to see liberation for all materialize in this world. She has had the privilege of being a part of the educational sector for the last decade. She led scholars and professional to rigorous gains both academically and professionally. She leads with empathy, belief, hope and love; shedding societal restrictions and conditions. She prioritizes holistic coaching and wellness to both ground self and those around. To continue operating in purpose, she has recently founded FyreFly 7, which grounds in holistic coaching and creative design. She hopes to continue to lead in this world with always holding the pen to write counter-narratives that elevate the brilliance, resilience, and love of BIPOC folx. In harmony with Audre Lorde words, "When I dare to be powerful - to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid." JD continues to fight with fear in tow, but conviction in lead.
