Hello!

Today, we speak to Rebecca Daniher. Bec is the campaign director of Fight MND and the daughter of Neale Daniher. Her dad, Neale, was named this year's Australian of the Year for his incredible fight against Motor Neurone Disease, defying the average life expectancy of just 27 months.

Today, Bec opens up about the moment she nearly thought she had lost her dad, how she balances her own emotional wellbeing while leading Fight MND, and the special memories she’s been able to make with her dad.

Thank you so much to the Victorian Government for supporting this episode of Inherited. Early Childhood Education offers a fulfilling path where you can nurture young children, support families, and advance your career. Thanks to Victoria’s early childhood education reforms, there are positions available right now. For more details, visit vic.gov.au.

Inherited is produced by Annabelle Lee and executive-produced by Lucy Hunt.

Your host today was Ruby Hall (@rubytuesday2.0), and the guest was Rebecca Daniher (@becdaniher).
