In this episode of The Inclusive Dad podcast, host AAron talks with Kyle Wright, a content creator and advocate who received a late autism diagnosis during the COVID pandemic. Kyle shares how losing structure triggered his self-discovery and led to a powerful journey of autism acceptance, neurodiversity advocacy, and creating Rubik’s Cube art as a therapeutic tool. He opens up about navigating corporate inclusion, building inclusive workplaces, and launching a movement rooted in the truth that you are loved. Whether you're a parent of a neurodivergent child, therapist, or ally, Kyle’s story inspires practical ways to build a more inclusive world.

Key Takeaways:

Late Autism Diagnosis – Kyle's formal autism diagnosis in adulthood empowered him to embrace his identity and advocate for neurodivergent acceptance.

COVID and Routine Disruption – The pandemic’s upheaval highlighted how important structure and routine are for autistic individuals.

Corporate Inclusion Wins – With the right workplace accommodations, Kyle found an employer that valued inclusion and accessibility.

Rubik’s Cube Therapy – Kyle uses Rubik’s Cube art as a creative, structured therapy tool for autistic youth and adults.

You Are Loved Movement – Rooted in his faith, Kyle spreads the message that everyone, especially those who feel different, deserves love and belonging.

Kyle Wright’s definition of inclusion:

Inclusion is not just about letting people into the room as much as it is designing the room so that everyone actually feels like they matter there.

Kyle Wright’s Bio:

In July 2024, Kyle’s world shifted when he was diagnosed with Autism as an adult. At the time, he was streaming video games on Twitch under the name "Rightbr0tha," but his passion for gaming was fading. The ever-changing nature of the games disrupted Kyle’s need for routine, leaving him searching for something that aligned with his unique strengths and preferences.

On October 16, 2024, Kyle posted his first Rubik’s Cube art-themed YouTube Short on his channel, which was still focused on gaming at the time. He set a challenge for himself: to post a new video every day for 30 days and see if anyone connected with his art. By the end of the month, Kyle had nearly doubled his subscriber count—an achievement that had taken him over two years to reach with gaming content.

Encouraged and energized, Kyle extended the challenge for another 30 days. That’s when something remarkable happened. In December 2024, the YouTube algorithm smiled upon him, catapulting the channel to nearly 500,000 views and bringing in 2,000 new subscribers. It was clear that Kyle had found his calling.

Kyle’s wife, Cammy, is a pillar of support in his journey. Not only does she often appear in videos and lives cubing alongside him, but she also designs and builds many of his smaller mosaics. Her encouragement inspires Kyle to push the boundaries of his creativity and step outside his comfort zone.

Through his art, Kyle not only shares a piece of himself but also reminds his growing community of one powerful truth:

“Know That You Are Loved.”
