De: Der Frühling kam mit voller Kraft in den Schwarzwald.
En: Spring arrived with full force in the Schwarzwald.
De: Die Bäume standen stolz, ihre Blätter schimmerten im Sonnenlicht, während die Vögel fröhlich zwitscherten.
En: The trees stood proudly, their leaves glimmering in the sunlight, while the birds chirped happily.
De: Heute waren Lukas und Klara im Wald unterwegs.
En: Today, Lukas and Klara were in the forest.
De: Ihre Schulklasse machte einen Ausflug, um die Ökologie des Waldes zu studieren.

De: „Schau dir diese Blumen an“, sagte Klara und zeigte auf ein Feld bunter Blumen.
En: “Look at these flowers,” Klara said, pointing to a field of colorful flowers.

En: Lukas glanced briefly.
De: „Ja, schön, aber wir suchen doch etwas ganz Besonderes“, sagte er und eilte weiter.
En: “Yeah, nice, but we are looking for something really special,” he said and hurried on.
De: Der Wald war lebendig.
En: The forest was alive.
De: Überall summte und brummte es.
En: Everywhere there was buzzing and humming.
De: Klara hielt an, um eine kleine Schnecke zu betrachten.
En: Klara paused to examine a small snail.
De: Lukas bemerkte es kaum.
En: Lukas barely noticed.
De: Er war auf der Suche nach der seltenen Pflanze.
En: He was on the hunt for the rare plant.
De: Durch das Dickicht hindurch fanden sie schließlich eine kleine Lichtung.
En: Through the thicket, they finally found a small clearing.
De: Inmitten des Grüns stand eine Blume, die sich von den anderen abhob.
En: Amidst the greenery stood a flower that stood out from the others.
De: Lukas war begeistert.
En: Lukas was thrilled.
De: „Das muss sie sein!“, rief er.
En: “This must be it!” he exclaimed.

De: „Lukas, schau dich um.
En: “Lukas, look around.
De: Die Natur hier ist wundervoll.
En: The nature here is wonderful.
De: Vielleicht ist die wirkliche Entdeckung nicht die Pflanze, sondern das, was wir hier erleben.“ Lukas zögerte.
En: Maybe the real discovery is not the plant, but what we are experiencing here.” Lukas hesitated.
De: Dann sah er sich um.
En: Then he looked around.
De: Die Schönheit des Waldes, die er bis jetzt kaum beachtet hatte, erschien ihm nun in einem neuen Licht.
En: The beauty of the forest, which he had hardly noticed until now, appeared to him in a new light.
De: Er atmete tief ein.
