🔄 Break the Loop 7/7: Slow Down with the Stars #SlowDownSunday
“Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.” — Carl Sagan
Take a deep breath with me. Now look up. See how the universe never hurries, yet everything still unfolds? Stars are born. Galaxies move. Light that began its journey before humans even walked the Earth is finding you right now.
I think about that, and suddenly my own worries feel a little lighter. Maybe yours will too.
This whole week on the Suite Spot we’ve been talking about breaking loops and finding resilience. But here, on Slow Down Sunday, take a break from doing more-- and let's pause together.
The universe has its own lessons if we’re willing to listen. Supernovas remind us that even breakdowns can create something beautiful. Dark matter whispers that the unseen still holds everything together. And the quiet orbits of planets show us that steady rhythms outlast frantic sprints.
The Bible says, “Be still, and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). In this verse, we find our divine invitation. The same invitation the night sky gives us every time we stop long enough to look.
So here’s my invitation to you. Step outside tonight, even if just for a minute. Look up as if you’re seeing the stars for the very first time. Let them remind you that slowing down isn’t falling behind. It’s finding your place in something bigger.
🎧 Press play and let’s sit together in this moment of stillness.
