John Wyatt and Stephen N. Williams' edited book, "The Robot Will See You Now," is a scholarly tome worth your time. Though it is now four years published, the chapters tap topics that continue to motivate, interest, and perplex anyone interested in how Artificial Intelligence and robotic technology is developing, contributing to, and possibly changing culture, in the U.S. and worldwide. Topics include science fiction, artificial intelligence, personhood and human uniqueness, sextech and simulated relationships, jobs and employment, health and social care, art and music, surveillance capitalism, and human freedom. The authors vary in their overt Christian application, but a concern for how believers should integrate their Christian worldview with an electronic culture is considered throughout. I learned and am glad I read this book.
