Does running a membership have to mean being online 24/7? I used to think so—until I found a better way.

In this episode of the Creator’s MBA, I’m lifting the curtain on a topic that surprises a lot of people: running multiple successful memberships without a traditional online community.

That’s right—no Facebook groups, no Circle, no Slack, no constant notifications. When a fellow podcast host recently said, “Wait, you can do that?” I realized just how many creators still think 24/7 community access is a must-have.

So today, I’m walking you through exactly how I support my members with high-touch, low-pressure systems—think live workshops, private podcast Q&As, smart AI assistants, and strategic automations that work around the clock (so I don’t have to).

If you’ve ever felt burnt out by the pressure to always be “on” for your community, this episode will give you a fresh perspective and a sustainable path forward.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Why I chose to ditch traditional community platforms for my memberships
  • The high-touch support systems I use instead (and why they work better)
  • How I run live monthly workshops that are deeply relevant to members
  • My “Ask Me Anything” form + private podcast Q&A approach
  • How I use AI clones and assistants to provide personalized, 24/7 help
  • The automation tools that keep members engaged and consistent
  • What I’m considering next for even deeper (but still scalable) support

Closing CTA:
If you’ve been dreaming of launching a membership but dreading the idea of managing a community, this episode is your permission slip to build it differently.

I hope this peek behind the curtain sparks ideas for how you can create support systems that serve your members and protect your energy.
