Cook Eat Run, a podcast that talks to runners about real food. Hosted by Charlie Watson; Registered Dietitian, author of Cook Eat Run, and thirteen time marathoner.

This week's episode is with Micah (nutritionxkitchen). a dietitian, a runner and recipe writer, and Lucy Harrison who is an Art Director, a celiac and a runner. Can you tell the theme of the podcast?!

Today we are talking about carbs and gluten. I’ve asked Micah in to talk about the nutrition side of things, and to delve into why carbs are so important to us as runners, why they are definitely not the enemy - I don’t think so and hopefully she doesn’t either and aLittle bit more about gluten.

As I was asking you guys questions on Instagram, a lot of you seemed to be newly diagnosed celiacs or trying to cut out gluten because you’ve been told to by a medical professional and that’s why I’ve asked Lucy on to share her experiences of being celiac, her top tips and to ask her what she finds difficult when it comes to running and race goody bags.
