Advanced Breath Practice; Lo- Fi Sound Structures
Manage episode 495129537 series 3575916
This is a structured, advanced breathwork practice designed to activate your nervous system and then settle it into deep stillness.
Three rounds of rapid breathing are each followed by progressively longer breath retentions on empty. Bells guide each phase of the journey, and the session ends with five minutes of ambient music to ground and integrate.
This is a silent, self-guided practice. Best done lying down in a safe, uninterrupted space. Not suitable for those with certain medical conditions (see full safety note).
*** Safety Note ***
This is an advanced breathwork practice that includes rapid breathing through the mouth and extended breath holds on the exhale.
Please read carefully before beginning:
- Do not practice while driving, swimming, standing, or operating machinery.
- Always perform breathwork in a safe, quiet space, ideally seated or lying down.
- Avoid this practice if you are pregnant, have epilepsy, a history of seizures, cardiovascular or respiratory conditions, high blood pressure, or any medical condition that may be aggravated by changes in oxygen or carbon dioxide levels.
- This practice may cause temporary sensations such as tingling, lightheadedness, emotional release, or altered states of awareness. These responses are normal, but always listen to your body.
- If at any point you feel unwell, gently stop the practice and return to a calm, natural breath.
This is not a medical or therapeutic intervention.
