In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Paul Musson.

Paul talks to us about what truly leads to long-term success for a business.

Paul Musson spent 25 years as a professional investor, managing $10 billion in assets, primarily with Mackenzie Investments in Toronto.

Today, he runs his own investment consulting firm, Paddington Capital Management, and writes a weekly blog, Paulitical Economy, where he breaks down complex global events in simple, accessible terms.

He is the author of Capital Offence: Why Some Benefit at Your Expense, a book aimed at helping readers understand how the economy truly works—and empowering them to demand better from policymakers.

Paul owned a brew pub 2013 to 2020

Outside of his professional work, Paul enjoys birding, cycling, and soccer, and is a devoted steam train enthusiast. He lives in the Toronto area with his wife and three daughters.
