In this episode, we have invited SNL veteran Hugh Fink, an Emmy Award-winning writer, producer, and comedian.
Hugh has established himself as one of the leading voices of cutting-edge humor in late night television and has earned a reputation for his fearless lampooning of pop culture. He's written many of your favorite sketches for people such as Jennifer Aniston, Steve Carell, Lenny Kravitz, Will Ferrell, Jimmy Fallon and so on.
Today, Hugh tells us about his journey to becoming a comedian, writer, and producer. Not to mention, teaching the first ever comedy sketch writing course at Harvard. He also shares his present happenings and thoughts on the current era of comedy.
Dr. Brenner shares one of his favorite sketches on SNL, “El Nino”, starring Chris Farley and discovers Hugh wrote it.
This episode is full of laughs and little gold nuggets that can help you tap into your humor, figure out what makes you funny and help develop that talent in a real way. AND if you need help, Hugh also talks about his private comedy writing classes and consulting for corporate and personal events.
