Welcome to “Beat The Mental Health Out Of It!” with your hosts, The DEFECTIVE Schizoaffective and IndyPocket!

The show where we have candid, unscripted discussions about everything related to mental health with a twist of humor and no-holds-barred!

Join us for a special episode with Josh Guffey, one of my dearest friends, as he shares his close friend’s tragic story of infidelity, self-deprivation, alcoholism and the struggles of maintaining mental stability after the failure of his marriage.

His friend desires for his story to be told, but does not feel comfortable appearing on camera or for his name to be mentioned. However, Josh has been given full consent by him to share his experiences.

Josh openly shares many details of his friend’s experiences, including:

- Many details regarding the trajectory from the beginning to the of the end of the relationship including the history of his relationship with his ex-wife, the manipulative tactics she used to maintain a facade of trust, when he made the shocking discovery and how she weaponized her own infidelity to rip their family apart

- Why he felt unable to “speak up” to his ex-wife and hold her accountable for her violation of the sanctity of their marriage

- The toll it takes on his mental health, his struggles with alcoholism to cope with his pain and reoccurring suicidal ideations

IndyPocket, will be sharing many painful stories of similar experiences in his past relationships to validate the situation of Josh’s friend and offers some valuable insights on the topic.

Josh and I share our history as dear friends and bonding through trauma and the three of us will also be enthusiastically exploring some societal observations we struggle to accept in our world

Tune in for a blend of dark humor, friendship and “bro-bonding” as we "Beat The Mental Health Out Of It!" with GUFF!
