From Wall Street to Real Estate – Ron’s Unstoppable Journey on Long Island
Manage episode 481398758 series 3618927
In this episode, we sit down with Ron, one of the largest residential real estate brokers on Long Island. After spending 10 years as a stockbroker on Wall Street, Ron made a life-changing decision to leave the industry after 9/11. His journey took him through the motorcycle business, and even bodybuilding, where he shares some exciting stories from his younger years. Returning to Long Island, Ron turned his attention to real estate, flipping houses and eventually earning his license. He explains the importance of understanding the inner workings and terminology of a business before diving in. Ron’s first listing was his friend’s dad’s house, and from there, word of mouth and his honest approach to advising clients helped him build a thriving career. Ron is a big supporter of Rob Esposito’s book, Nobody Move, and gives his honest advice about when not to buy or sell. Plus, stay tuned for fun stories about his time with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dee Snider!
